I don't know if decent people are afraid of change. They're mostly afraid of what the monsters can do, and tired of trying hard to do the right thing, only to see the monsters smash it all down every time.
That's... exactly my point. Decent people are afraid. And need to act anyways, without complaint or self-pity about being "tired of doing the right thing," as you put it.
In my whistleblowing process, a psychopath was literally trying to kill, curse, and financially derail me. That would be considered a "valid reason" for fear. But I did the right thing anyway, no matter how tired I was (and Lordy, I tired of doing the right thing 🤣). In the end, I came out stronger and brighter. In the end, I became an inspiration for others in my community to go beyond their fear. And, I learned invaluable lessons about Divine protection and Divine provision.
You can keep telling the story that the monsters smash it down "every time." But darling, I (and many others) am living proof that it's not every time 😘
